Question 1
I have heard OuiWrite will actually find sources for my paper for me, where is that feature?

Answer
The feature you are referring to is called OuiWrite Genius. Simply click the button on the top left of the writing area labeled as "Genius" to engage the service. Click "Edit" on the Genius bar to narrow the focus of OuiWrite.

I need my paper to be double spaced, why isn't OuiWrite doing it for me automatically?

Answer
OuiWrite is formatting your document correctly. When you click the "Export" button, OuiWrite will provide a copy of your document in Microsoft Word document which is correctly formatted, including spacing.

Does OuiWrite have spell check feature?

Answer
Yes, OuiWrite can spell check your work in any of the supported 11 languages. Simply roll over the top bar that says "OuiWrite" in the middle, click the icon for spell check, and then you can right click any underlined words for suggestions. Remember that OuiWrite will see words that sound the same but have different meanings such as "there" "their" and "they're" as correct spellings. It is up to you to choose the word with the correct meaning.

OuiWrite does not format my paper exactly how my teacher or professor requires, why is that?

Answer
OuiWrite uses the standards set forth by MLA, APA and other writing standardization organizations. Your teacher may require something slightly different depending on their needs. Export and print your document and allow your teacher to review it before the due date to make sure everything is perfect.

I need to add images or charts and graphs to my document, can OuiWrite do that?

Answer
OuiWrite is made to help you write. It does not currently have graphing functions. After you export your OuiWrite document, you will be able to open the document in Microsoft Word and make any edits you like. You can add any graphic you want from another website by simply dragging the image to the text box on OuiWrite.

I am having a problem with OuiWrite that doesn't seem to be covered in the Tips and Tricks section of this site, what should I do?

Can I use OuiWrite on my website or my service?

Answer
OuiWrite is a patent pending technology that is extensively secured. OuiBox may license OuiWrite to large organizations or products however it is very unlikely.

Can you add other types of documents to OuiWrite? Like a business plan section or other features?

OuiWrite is constantly upgrading and trying to make your experience as positive as possible. Please send an email to feedback@ouibox.com with any requests and if they aren't already on the "to-do" list, they will be added.

OuiWrite Genius is giving me all kinds of irrelevant information, what have I done wrong?

Answer
If you are writing on a topic that is peculiar then OuiWrite may have problems finding information for you. OuiWrite actually gets smarter with the more people that use it and will deliver more relevant results over time. One way to get better results is by clicking "Edit" from the Genius bar and entering a topic for the document. OuiWrite will find information in context of the topic.

Does OuiWrite have a dictionary?

Yes. Click "Advanced" on the top bar and enter a word you want to define.

Can I send my OuiWrite document to a friend to work on or review?

Answer
This functionality falls under "collaborative writing" and OuiWrite is developing this technology. In the mean time, export the document and email it to your friend so that they can review it.

How are people supposed to learn to format a paper or do their own research if they can use something like OuiWrite?

Answer
OuiWrite is designed to take away the work from writing and make it fun again. People said the same thing about calculators when they first came out. "How will people learn to add and subtract if they have a calculator?" OuiWrite is the next logical step in the writing process and there are 100s more features that will make writing even easier being released soon.

Is OuiWrite banned by schools?

There's no reason for OuiWrite to be banned in schools. There is nothing illegal about OuiWrite. Writing should be fun and engaging. The writing process and educational process as a whole has become so regimented that writing is looked at with great disgust worldwide. OuiWrite aims to remove the drudgery and make writing about ideas and creativity.

Send an email to feedback@ouibox.com with the subject line being "Idea for OuiWrite". All messages are read, however with the volume, not all messages receive replies.

How do I save my OuiWrite document?

Answer
OuiWrite is always saving your document automatically however you can manually save the document by clicking the "Save" button on the bottom bar. If you lose power or your Internet connection OuiWrite automatically saves the document in the "My Documents" section.

How to use OuiWrite

First Steps

OuiWrite is set up to produce standardized documents in the easiest way possible. Using OuiWrite is very simple. After you select the document you would like to compose, simply start writing in the large text box. OuiWrite is actually formatting the document as you type. It may not seem formatted in the text box, but after you click the "Export" button on the bottom bar, OuiWrite will provide you with a Microsoft Word document that is formatted to your liking.

Roll over the top bar that says "OuiWrite" and you will notice all of the text editing tools are available here. Simply click on the select the text you want to manipulate, and click the button of the feature you want to use.

OuiWrite is constantly saving your work, so there is no need to worry about losing your document. If you accidentally delete text, you can select "CTRL + Z" to undo. If you are using a Mac, the button is slightly different: "Command + Z".

When you're ready to export your document, simply click "Export" on the bottom bar to generate a formatted Microsoft Word document.

OuiWrite Genius

You may have wondered what the "Genius" button does. This engages the OuiWrite Genius function which will searches the Internet for sources for the content you are writing. For example, if you write "Abraham Lincoln was born on" Genius will find the date the was born and you can then click the + icon to add this source to your paper as an annotation and to the bibliography automatically.

OuiWrite Genius uses Google, Yahoo!, Bing and more to give you the most relevant results possible. Click "Edit" on the Genius bar to change settings and get more targeted information.

OuiWrite will ask you what type of source you would like to make the resource that you're using. For example, if you are on a website that discusses a book, you can make that website formatted as a book, or website. Some teachers require 5 book only resources. This allows users to take content on the Internet and get the correct formatting for whatever source they find.

Final Points
